  Amazing service from start to finish! I spent around 18 months to 2 years planning my wedding and from the moment we viewed the hotel up until the morning after our wedding I have received outstanding service from everyone here. The whole day was absolutely perfect and I don't have one fault with it. I had all my communications with Jane the wedding coordinator who was really easy to get along with and listened to all my ideas. We also received outstanding service from Dean the duty manager on the day who was so attentive. He kept us informed on the whole run down of the day, kept to the time line of the day perfectly as well as getting on really well with all the guests there to. He was polite, professional and made everything feel so relaxed. The food from the BBQ was delicious and I'm so glad we had perfect weather for it! I couldn't have asked for a better day, you really did make it all I ever wanted and more and I would love to be able to give you higher than a 5 star rating - thank you so much to you all x

  Food was fresh, hot and great portion size. My room was spacious and comfortable. As the weather was lovely I was able to enjoy the surrounding gardens and patio.

  Although this is a beautiful building we found it shabby and outdated with cobwebs seen in most rooms. The decor is abysmal and looks like it's from the 60/70s. A fresh coat of paint wouldn't go amiss either.
  The shower stopped working and the kitchen staff woke us up at 7am with their door banging and loud talking.
  We moved rooms. The shower stopped working here too...!!
  The wardrobe was filled with all sorts of debris including an empty bleach bottle, dirty glasses, duvet, and screwed up bedding.
  However, the food was very good and our problems were soon sorted. Take it or leave it. The choice is yours.

  A really picturesque setting by the River Wensum for a mock Tudor hotel. Room was a little on the small side and without the advertised trouser press. Nice shower room though. No bath. And we had no luck getting the WiFi to work. The soundproofing could be better.

  Friendly and relaxing hotel in a beautiful setting. Good service which aided the relaxation, though room soundproofing could be improved. Would recommend.
